Eric George officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery in Aberdeen, MS. Pat was born on November 16, 1944, in Columbus, MS to the late Howard G. and Anice Hollingsworth Nason. During her young adult life, she was a member of The All American Band and performed as a majorette. When her children were young, she entered into the workforce and found lifelong friends from her time in the bursar’s office at Ole Miss. Her love of church and her devotion to her faith led her to minister to others. Known as Patsy to many, she served as a lay pastor with Oxford-University United Methodist Church where she was a former member. Patsy led a long and successful career in sales across many companies throughout the skincare industry. In an effort to work closer to home, she took a position as a purchasing agent and joined the US Attorney’s office where she worked until retirement. She was called to lead others in worship and found great joy in ministering to residents of many nursing homes and to inmates serving time in prison. More recently, she was a faithful member of The Orchard Church in Oxford and loved her time worshipping with her church family.

A perfect evening at home with her husband might include sharing a nice glass of wine following a beloved boat cruise at The Highlands. She found beauty in the small moments dancing together but could often be seen dancing alone, symbolically celebrating the joy and happiness that was an innate part of her being. Always welcoming others into her home, Pat exemplified the art of loving other people with gracious hospitality and warmth. Her impression of Dolly Parton was spot on and she was always willing to provide her audience with a quick bit!

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Larry Lamar Williams of Oxford; two daughters, Nancy Annice “Na-Ann” Williams of Naples, FL and Leah Williams Bullock and her husband, Trey of Oxford; a son, Nason Lamar Williams and his wife, Jane Claire of Jackson, MS; eight grandchildren, Lauren Watts Andresini and her husband, Tim, Caitlin Bullock Barge and her husband, Caleb, Turner Lamar Bullock and his wife, Mary Elizabeth, Patton Bullock, Reagan Bullock, Alex Williams, Elise Williams and Parker Williams and four great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Delilah, Elliott and Miles.
