Chuck McBrayer
Guntown- Chuck McBrayer 63, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-nieces and great-nephews. Chuck was a talented football player for Saltillo High School and ICC and recipient of the Tombigbee Conference Most Valuable Player Award. He was a 43 year diesel technician, employee of Tag Truck Center and member of Guntown First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday, September 09, 2024 at 11:00 a. m. with Bro. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Myra Rogers McBrayer of Guntown; daughter, Shae Barnes (Rob) of Saltillo; son, Will McBrayer (Sarah) of Saltillo; sister, Debbie Hayes (Anthony) of Guntown; mother & father-in-law, James Rogers (Glenda) of Guntown; grandchildren, Abby Roberts and Obie McBrayer; nephews, Trent Rogers (Stephanie) of Guntown , Andy Rogers (Melissa) of Guntown and Charlie Hayes; brother-in-law, Ricky Rogers (Carolyn) of Pratt; special nephew, Brian Austin (Jessica); special great-nieces and nephews, John Bucy Long, Maggie Austin, Jude Austin and Jasper Austin; his Tag Truck Center family and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elsie Brown McBrayer and his brother-in-law, Allen Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Dustin White, Brandon Robison, Wesley Bolen, Darrell Duffie, Charles Duffie and Rex Myhand.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, September 08, 2024 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
