Shelby Hardin
Blue Springs- Shelby Jean Hardin 84, passed away on Saturday September 7, 2024 at Pontotoc Nursing Home. She was an employee of Mohasco Manufacturing for several years and Fruit of the Loom of Sherman, She enjoyed cooking, going to yard sales, taking vacations and traveling, while in High School she loved participating in pageants, but most of all she enjoyed her time with her family. She was a member of the Jericho Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be on Monday September 9, 2024 at 2pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. David Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in the Jericho Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jimmy L. Hardin Sr., daughter Marianne Lindsey (Mickey) of Potts Camp, 4 sons Greg Fondren (Pam) of Guntown, Chad Fondren of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Jim Hardin Jr. (Donna) of Jericho, Danny Ray Hardin (Christy) of Saltillo, 3 sisters Charlotte Pannell of New Albany, Dixie Scott (Dwight) of Baldwyn, Tammy White (Jeff) of Jericho, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hardin Jr., Danny Ray Hardin, Danny Johnson, Mike Moore, Joe Scott and Eddie Scott.
She was Preceded in death by her parents Luther and Pearl Hall Davis, a son Tracy Fondren and a sister Lynn Hill.
Visitation will be Sunday September 8, 2024 from 5-8pm at Waters Funeral Home.
