Frankie Lee Lofton

Frankie Lee Lofton, 64 of Calhoun City peacefully left this world at his home on September 19, 2024. Born on September 24, 1959, in Little Rock, AR,  Frankie was a devoted husband to Debbie Lofton, a loving father to Brandon (Erin) Lofton of Oxford, MS, and Erick (Lauren) Lofton of Ridgeland, MS, and a proud grandfather to Jacob and Micah Lofton. He will be dearly missed by his family, including his cherished mother-in-law Jean Pendergrast, brother-in-law Donald Pendergrast, and sister-in-law Tonya Lofton.

Frankie dedicated his life to his passion as an automotive mechanic, working diligently at Franks Auto for many years. His skillful hands and unwavering commitment to his craft earned him the respect of many in the automotive industry. Frankie's strong work ethic and attention to detail were second to none.

Beyond his professional life, Frankie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was casting a line on a peaceful morning or cheering for his favorite team. He had a great love for his family showing his love through his unwavering support, guidance and care. He was a member of Derma Baptist Church. Frankie's involvement as a former board member for Calhoun Academy showcased his dedication to education and community service.

In honor of Frankie's life, a public viewing will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on September 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm. with Bro. Jimmy Vance, Bro Hal Clark and Bro. Roger Reeder officiating. Frankie will be laid to rest at Pine Crest Memorial Garden in Calhoun City. Kenny Dismuke, Kevin Flemons, Jonathan Hood, David Keeton, Jacob Lofton, Tim Melton, and Donnie Smith will serve as Pallbearers. Robbie Abbott, Elbie Wayne Dickerson, Jasper "Buddy" Doler, Rodney Gillespie, Adam Lofton, Micah Lofton, Ronnie Lofton, and John Tindall will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Calhoun Academy P.O. Drawer, C, Calhoun City, MS. 38916,  Madison Ridgeland Academy 7601 Old Canton Rd. Ridgeland, MS. 39110, or the Mississippi-American Lung Association 353 N. Mart Plaza, Jackson, MS. 39206.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents: Jerald Lofton, Joy Evans Lofton, sister,  Shelia Lofton Gann, a brother, Tommy Lofton and Rev. Edward Pendergrast his father-in-law.
