Bobbie Sue SledgeThompson, 96, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Countrywood Manor-Lakeview Place in Mantachie. She was born September 2, 1928, to Webb Sledge, Sr and Lilly Taylor Sledge in Pontotoc, MS. She enjoyed being at home. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed working in her flowers, garden and her yard. She had a great love for her family and those at Lakeview Place. She was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Pontotoc.
The family will have a private family service.
Survivors, daughter, Regina Thompson Childers of Blue Mountain; two sons, Ronald "Bubba" Thompson (Renaa) and Shan Thompson (Sherrie) of Pontotoc; two grandsons, Jonathen Childers (Olivia) and Ryan Thompson (Nicole); granddaughter, Shana Thompson; two great granddaughters, Lexie Thompson and Mary Ella Childers; and two great grandsons, Landen Thompson and Jack Childers.
Preceded in death by, parents; husband of 67 years, Rueben Leon Thompson; siblings, Willie Madge Sledge, Mary Lou Harkins, Aileen Tarrant, Hilda Ferguson, Junior Sledge and Sonny Sledge.
