Clinton Lee Turner Jr. passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on October 17, 1967, in Bruce, Mississippi, Clinton dedicated his life to his passion for the open road as a truck driver. He found joy not only in his work but also in the great outdoors, where he spent countless hours hunting for arrowheads, hunting deer and turkey, and fishing in the serene waters of Mississippi.
Clinton is survived by his five children, Heather Turner, Haley Turner, Joey Turner, Dustin Turner, and Austin Ledbetter all of Bruce. He leaves behind his siblings, Donna Bynum of Bruce, MS, Debbie Kitchens of Oxford, MS, and Tony Bond of Oxford. Clinton was also grandfather to Grace Turner, Railey Doss, John Walker Turner, Bryson Gibson, Wiley Jane Turner, Bentley Ledbetter, Maverick Ledbetter, and McCoy Ledbetter.
Public viewing for Clinton will be held on December 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home. This will be followed by a funeral service in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jerry Smith and Bro. Jacob Samuel officiating. Clinton’s final resting place will be in Banner, Mississippi, where he will be laid to rest. Joshua Bynum, Brad Cole, John Freelon, Dekendrick Stephens, Dallas Turner, and J.R. Turner will serve as Pallbearers with Joseph Lester, Mark Logan, Dion Miller, Lenard Poynor, Dewey Reynold and Douglas Reynolds serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
Clinton was preceded in death by: father, Clinton "Poe" Turner, mother, Helen Miller Turner, brothers, Lynn Turner and Mitchell Turner.
