Patricia Vining Inmon

Patricia Vining Inmon went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Oxford. The celebration of her life and going to Heaven service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Officiating the service will be Dr. Tony Inmon and Brother Don Gann. Place of interment will be Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be the First Baptist Church Oxford Kitchen Class.

Growing up in the Forts Lake Community, Patricia was educated in the Moss Point School system before graduating from Mississippi State College for Women with a BS in Nutrition and then a MS in Nutrition from Mississippi State University. In addition to a brief stint as a Dietician at the Singing River Hospital of Pascagoula, she became an Army wife, a Forest Service wife, a housewife and mother, before spending 29 years at First Baptist Oxford as Church Secretary and Pastors’ Secretary. She was a long-time member and one-time president of the Oxford Pilot Club, and numerous-times co-chair of the Ole Miss Junior Classic Tennis Tournament.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Juanita Vining; one son, Scott Inmon; one brother, Steven Vining; and one brother-in-law, Kent Bragg.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Inmon; one son, Dr. Tony Inmon and his wife and daughter, Denita and Taylor; one brother, Elton Vining and his wife, Bonnie; one sister, Cheryl Bragg Hamilton and her husband, Keith; and one other sister-in-law, Annette Vining; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
