Guntown-Jeffrey Lonnie Motes age 63 died Friday March 28, 2025 in Walnut, Ms after a brief illness. He was retired from Campbell Soup co. in Ark. and a Baptist. He enjoyed fishing, buying and selling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Services will be Monday March 31 at 2 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial Will be in the Campbelltown Cemetery.
Survivors include 3 daughters; Jennifer Vizueth & Hector and Monica Motes & Freddie all of Ark. And Kathy Harris & Nathan of Saltillo his mother Rosie Motes of Guntown; his girlfriend Donna Jacobs of Walnut; a sister Kathy Kirk & Gary of Hernando; 2 brothers, Johnny Ray Motes & Wilma of Baldwyn and David W. Motes of Baldwyn, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Johney Motes brother, Steven Motes grandparents, Jeff & Clytee Bradley and Lonnie & Irene Motes.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Capps, Nathan Harris, Kyle Motes, Alex Jacobs, Waylon Daniel, Tristen Daniel and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday March 31 12-2 pm at Waters Funeral Home.
