Mr. John Allen Adams, 71, died Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. Services will be held at a later date.
John was born on July 17, 1953, in Raceland, Louisiana, to the late Evelyn Plaisance and Norman Joseph Adams. A retired boat captain, he worked in the oil rigg industry for over 45 years. An outdoorsman to his core, John enjoyed time spent in nature, especially long days working in his yard and flowerbeds. He kept his lawn meticulously manicured and his flower gardens flourished each and every year. John loved listening to his favorite rock and roll music and occasional rides on his motorcycle. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather, and a constant guiding light for his family. John attended Adonai Baptist Church in Water Valley, Mississippi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Catherine Adams, and brother, James Adams.
