Trula Faye Gibson
Guntown- Trula Faye Gibson, age 81 died September 17 2025. She was born to Owen and Winnie Buse on June 20 1944. She married Walter Lee Gibson February 28.1958. She worked for Blue Bell for 35 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 -8:00 p. m. with services on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home with her grandson Adam Hunt officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery.
Survivors include her sister Lula Bell Cruz, her four daughters, Patricia Faye Cole (Herman) of New Site, Lula Diane Brazeal (David) of Guntown, Fran Porter (Kelvin) of Myrtle, and Pam Robinson (Bob) of Pontotoc, two sons William Trixie Gibson of Saltillo, and Walter Bryant Gibson (Melissa) of Saltillo. 13 grandchildren Mark Vandevander (Jessica), Kim Land (Hugh), Sharon Hall (Jerad), Chris Vandevander (Sheyenne), Nikki Lynn Sanchez (Ale), Jessie Gibson (Keri), Alisha Dunaway (Matthew), Adam Hunt (Brittany) Jessica King (Brandon), Amanda Gibson (Crystal), Dominic Robinson, Candace Robinson, Mason Dodds, Amanda Dill, and Alison Johnson. 33 Great grandchildren with one more coming in March. one great great-grandchild coming in February.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Walter Lee Gibson, her grandson John Cory Hill, her parents Owen and Winnie Buse, two sisters Peggy Frances Feret, Vita Louise Buse, and one brother James Robert Buse.
Pallbearers will be Jessie Gibson, Chris Vandevander, Dominic Robinson, Bob Robinson, Kelvin Porter, Mark Vandevander. Honorary Pallbearer David Brazeal
