Nella Timmons

Birmingham Ridge-Nella Ruth Enis Timmons, age 83 died Saturday February 21, 2026 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after an extended illness. She retired from The American Family Association and was a member of the Birmingham Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking, horses and spending time with her family.

Services will be Tuesday February 24, 2026 at 4 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in the McNeil cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter Kim Reed of Birmingham Ridge, 2 sons, Chris Timmons and Mark Timmons both of Birmingham Ridge, a sister Linda Michael of Brandon, a sister-in-law Virginia Christopher of Guntown, a brother James Enis of Birmingham Ridge, 5 grandchildren, Shane Timmons & Brandi, Shawn Timmons & Cat, Bryan Reed & Mandy, Brent Reed& Lakin and Mason Timmons & Gracie, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dalton & Lillie Copeland Enis, her husband Gene Timmons, sister Jean Sullivan brother W. M. Enis, and daughter-in-law Linda Timmons, grandchild Nikki Timmons and a great grandchild Jack Timmons.

Pall Bearers will be Shane Timmons, Shawn Timmons, Bryan Reed, Brent Reed and Mason Timmons.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 pm at Waters Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend special appreciation to the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo for their great and compassionate care of Nella Timmons.
