Brenda Shook Ray, lovingly known to her family as “Sissy”, 73, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home in Southaven, MS. She was born September 11, 1952, to Chester Shook and Jane Johnson Shook.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Friday, March 20, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Tracy Arnold officiating. The services are under the direction of Waters Funeral Home.
She was a member of the Wheeler Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Shook; and sister Pat Hall Burk (Rodger); nephews, grandnephews,great-grandnephew and grandnieces, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Mitzi Ray Patterson, parents; three brothers, Larry Shook, David Shook, and Steven Shook; and one nephew, Shane Hall.
