Baldwyn- Connie Leigh Russell Bolton, 76, passed away at NMMC on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, following a long battle with cancer. She was a homemaker and former employee of Action Transport. She enjoyed taking care of her home and yard, flowers and cooking.
Her priority in life was raising her girls and loving all the kids in her community.
She loved spending time with her family and caring for others. She was a member of Ozark Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 04, 2026 at Ozark Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Wayne Bolton of Baldwyn; daughters, Leslie Bolton Carrell of Saltillo and Carmon Bolton York (Tripp) of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Sandra Russell Bilbo (Lynn) of Brandon, MS; (4) grandchildren, Carlyn Grace York, Mackenzie White, Morgan McFerrin (Evan) and Dustin Carrell (Madison); (3) great-grandchildren, Audrey McFerrin, Bennett McFerrin and Sawyer James Carrell;
Special niece, Nicole McGarrity and a special nephew, Michael Bilbo; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death her parents, Hollis G. Russell and Inez Estes Russell; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, April 04, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 p. m.
