Glenda Williams Burrell

Mrs. Glenda Gale Williams Burrell, 64, died Friday, April 3, 2026, at her home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday prior to the service beginning at 12:30 P.M. A burial will take place at Palestine United Methodist Church Cemetery in Montpelier, MS.

Glenda was born on July 2, 1961, in Rockfish, NC, to the late Donna Grace and Curtis B. Wiliams. She enjoyed playing basketball in high school. She later attended Wake Forrest College, where she earned a degree in computer programming.

Glenda had a creative soul and found great joy in crafting, thrifting and restoring antiques. She especially loved watching Antiques Roadshow and had a keen eye for finding hidden treasures and bringing them back to life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis B. Williams.

She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Grace Burrell and her husband, Arthur Knight of Oakland, CA; sons, Blaine Burrell of Oxford, MS and John Spencer Burrell and his partner, Shyann Means of Oxford, MS; grandchildren, Layla Grace Burrell, Everleigh Jean Burrell, Annistyn Bailey Burrell, Abel Rowan Knight, Jackson Tate Tankersley, Zayn Paul Williams, and Brody Joe Williams.

Memorial contributions in Glenda’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
