Bernice Jones Suggs, age 92, died Friday, February 14, 2020, at Care Center in Aberdeen. She was born on May 3, 1927, in Franklin, Alabama to Dovie Idella Hill Jones and James Alfred Jones. Ms. Jones was a seamstress at Seminole Manufacturing in Aberdeen for 22 years, a resident of Aberdeen since 1956, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Jean Dean of Las Vegas, NV and Peggy Sue Criddle of Columbus, MS, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Suggs; her parents; four sisters, Rena Francisco, Lucille Garrett, Dorothy Dull and Minnie Lou Murff; and one brother, James Audrey Jones of Okolona, MS.
- Services will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11:00 A. M. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel with Ministers Jonathan Hagar and Tim Wilson officiating.
- Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
- A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020, from 9:30 until service time at Tisdale-Lann Chapel.
- Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.
