Mr. Filadelfo Reveles, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, in Oxford, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home.
Mr. Reveles enjoyed listening and playing music throughout his life. He wrote over 100 songs during his lifetime, some of which were recorded. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Mr. Reveles is survived by his wife, Demetria Gonzalez Perez of Oxford; seven sons, Gonzalo Reveles Botello, Efren Reveles Botello, Martin Reveles Botello, Alejo Reveles Botello, Javier Reveles Botello, Bulmaro Reveles Gonzalez, and Santiago Reveles Gonzalez; three daughters, Luz Elena Reveles Botello, Maria Elva Reveles Botello, and Margarita Reveles Gonzalez; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Reveles was preceded in death by parents, Felipe Reveles Rodarte and Margarita Garcia Gonzalez and one daughter Margarita Reveles Botello.
Memorials in honor of Mr. Filadelfo Reveles can be made to St. Pashcal Baylon Catholic Church in Thousand Oaks, CA (155 E Janss Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360).
