Jerry Glyn Holland, II, age 49, died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at his residence in the Pinedale Community. He was born December 11, 1969, in New Albany, Mississippi. Glyn was a graduate of W. P. Daniel High School , he drove a truck for many years and traveled all over the U. S. He was also a bail bondsman and criminal bail enforcement agent for A-Action Bonding Co, and was a member of the Bonding Coalition. He enjoyed trucking and collecting, and his grandchildren were the light of his life. Glyn was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 1 P. M. at Glenfield Funeral Home with Brother William Reaves, officiating. Pallbearers are Anthony Carter, Drew Bayer, David Gardner, John Forsythe, Marty Russell, Josh Russell, Allen Tate, and Mikle Turner. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5 P. M. until 8. P. M. at the funeral home, and Wednesday from 10 A. M. until 1 P. M. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Rutledge Holland of Ettta, daughters, Leslie Ford (Daniel) of Southaven, Jeana Jennings (Stephen) of Ettta, and Jamie Beth Holland of New Albany; mother, Carolyn Tate Williams of New Albany; brother, Jeremy Holland (Jennifer) of Baldwyn; sister, Melanie Holland, of New Albany; grandchildren, Jackson Wilson, Harper Pannell, Gray Jennings, and Amy Ford; nieces and nephews, Brandon Self, Nicolas Self, Anna Austin, and Olivia Holland, and mother-in-law, Doris Sweet. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Glyn Holland and his grandparents, Bar B and Jennie Holland, and James and Edna Tate.
