Sang Van Lam

March 5, 1928 ~ April 29, 2020

Sang Van Lam, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in Oxford. A private service was held at Waller Funeral Home.

Mr. Lam was a businessman in South Vietnam during the War era from 1955-1975. Three of his brothers died in the war. Mr. Lam served as an intelligence officer for the South Vietnamese government while his wife worked in the United States embassy. As the war ended, Mr. Lam enabled many in his family to make passage to the United States to enjoy the freedom this nation affords. 

Sang is survived by his wife of 50 years, Suong Le Vuong; His daughters- Tu (Glen) Stone, Le (Michael) Downing, and Bao (Blake) Holly; one son- Son (Leah) Lam; 11 grandchildren- Cameron Cummings, Jackson Stone, Brec Stone, Paxton Lam, Asher Lam, Ryker Lam, Hughes Lam, Ben Downing, Andi Lynn Downing, Avery Joan Holly, and Allie Van Holly.
