Deacon Willie Curtis Eubanks, 81, transitioned on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Diversicare in Tupelo. He was born on October 18th, 1939 to the late Savage and Annie Eubanks. He was the youngest of four children.
He found Christ at an early age at West Grove M.B. Church. He later joined Robbs Chapel M.B. Church, where he served on the Deacon Board until his death. He was also a Veteran who served in the United States Navy for four years.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife; Ethel Eubanks, four loving children; Tina Eubanks-Wilson (Verlandus), Willie T. Eubanks, Adrienne Eubanks and Rachel Eubanks, two step-children; Tracy Poe and Clay Harrison, one sister; Annie McCain, twenty-three grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, a son and a stepson.
Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 2p.m., at Thompson Chapel Church Cemetery (East County Line) in Houlka, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 12 Noon until 1:30p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc.
