Lawrence C. (Buddy) Price, 75, passed away on October 13, 2021 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a retired truck driver for Larry Carroll Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Lawrence Price and Mavis Maxine Buse Price; wife, Sandra Lee Price; and sister, Edith Kent.
He is survived by his niece, Janell Kent of Starkville, MS; nephews, Sammy Kent of Arizona and Mike Kent of Sturgis, MS; sisters-in-law, Cydeana Lee of Texas and Debra Tate of Gulfport, MS; and brothers-in-law, Chesly Lee of Texas, Michael Lee of Jackson, MS, Robert Lee of Jackson, MS and Mark Lee of Starkville, MS.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Jackie Wofford will conduct the service. Burial will be in Adaton Baptist Church Cemetery.
