Karen Allen

Karen Allen, also known as ‘Carol’ passed away December 10, 2021 at her residence at the age of 80. She was born July 17, 1941 in Virginia to the late Lloyd and Kathleen Shifflett. She went to school in McLean, VA. She was a convenient store manager for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Calvin Allen of West Point; children, Debbie Gaskin of West Point, Anthony “Tony” Allen (Loretta) of NC, Thomas Lee Allen of NC, Sharon Fulgham (Ricky) of Mathiston; a sister, Barbara Carter of VA; grandchildren, Keri Shurden, Amy Cook, Mathew Lomax, Seth Fulgham, Valery Fulgham; great grandchildren, Schyler Darnell (Ross), Schieanne White, Abbagayle White, Brandon Cook, Jr., Malynn Shurden, Alyssa Shurden, Hagen Lomax, Brooklynn Fulgham, Brynnlee Fulgham, JJ Gonzalez; great-great grandchildren, JT Darnell, Isobelle Darnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Billy Shifflett; sisters, Marie Martin, Linda Shifflett; grandson, Mark Allen Lomax, Jr.

Visitation with family and friends will be 4-6 PM Sunday December 12, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday December 18, 2021 at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel.
