Glenda Hall

Baldwyn-Glenda Hall, age 72 died at her home Friday April 29, 2022 after an extended illness. She was a retired seamstress and inspector for Lucky Star Ind. and a member of the Osborne Creek Baptist Church. She loved to go shopping, take care of her yard and work in her garden.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. John Cagle officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Survivors include (2) daughters Susan Gray & Bubba of Mantachie and Tina Jones & Brian of Verona; a sister Lottie Crownover & Bobby of Georgia; (2) brothers Mack R. Heavener & Linda of Baldwyn and George Heavener & Betty of Marietta; (2) grandchildren, Jesse Ford & Nicole and Jennifer Moore & Chad; (7) great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Jesley, Cale, Carmen, Hadley, Cadience and Aiden. She loved her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents George I & Ethel Reynolds Heavener; a sister, Mauveline Curtiss; 2 brothers, R.B. Heavener and Bobby Heavener.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 am until 11 a. m.

  1. Dear Hall family, one of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Did you know the Bible compares death to sleep? (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him, the dead are not conscious of anything. There is a promise of hope in the Bible. Our loving God has promised to awaken the dead, as if from sleep, and give them life again. Acts 24:15 says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” The bible offers comfort for those who are grieving and I hope this brings you comfort as well.
