Bobby Butler age 78, passed away at his residence on May 10, 2022 after a short illness. He was a retired dairy and row crop farmer and the prior owner of Starkville Auto Parts. He was also an active member of Self Creek Baptist Church.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Celess Fulgham Butler of Starkville: 2 daughters, Angie Pinnix ( Chris) of Mathiston, and Lacey Berryman of Starkville; one son, Pat Butler ( Robyn) of Starkville; sisters, Cheryl Pace of Hattiesburg and Jamie Achee of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Tommy Dye of Brentwood, California; grandchildren, Eli Palmertree, Sydney Thompson (Harley), Brock Berryman, Jake Butler, Jordan Butler, Corbin Butler, Erin Morgan (Bobby); one great grandson, Greyson Thompson. He was preceeded in death by his son, Brad Butler and parents, Truly Butler and Wren Grisham Butler.
Services will be held at Self Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in the Self Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Dr. Larry Watson and Reverend Michael Baham.
