Charles “C.L” Pettigo

Charles "C.L." Pettigo (83) passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Meadows in Fulton. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He attended Family Worship Center and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was a truck driver for 42 years. He enjoyed dealing with horses, wagons and cars, watching westerns and collecting and repairing watches and knives.

Services are 2 pm Monday, November 14, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. William Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Monday at the funeral home.

C.L. is survived by his daughters, Tonia McCaine of Fulton and Reba Vess of Baldwyn; his sons, Neil Pope (Gina) of Fulton and Paul Wayne Pope of Tupelo; his brothers, Mackey Pedigo (Leva) of Baldwyn and Charles Pedigo (Peggy) of Dumas; his sister, Raye Raines of Dumas; 9 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Pettigo; his parents, Flora and Ruble Pedigo; his sisters, Fran Hicks and Faye Pedigo; his brothers, Marcus and Billy Pedigo; his son, Mike Pope and an infant son.

Pallbearers are Brandon McCaine, Bobby McCaine and Shannon Carter.
