Hal Fuller

March 1, 1930 ~ December 22, 2022

Hal Dean Fuller, 92, of Starkville passed away on December 22, 2022 at Oktibbeha County Hospital following a brief illness. Hal was born March 1st, 1930 in Lafayette County Mississippi to the late Johnnie and Velma Fuller.

He was preceded in death by two siblings, Elaine Fuller and Annie Fuller Cash.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Fuller and five children, Angie (Jeff) Whitaker, Rebecca (Jay) Kelley, Joel D. Fuller, Mitch (Linda) Coleman and Randy (Lynn) Coleman and 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Hal was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Mississippi Highway Patrol where he served for over 25 years.

Visitation will be held Tuesday December 27th at Fellowship Baptist Church from 1:00 -2:00 with the funeral service following at the church, with burial at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery

  1. Dear Fuller family, one of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Did you know the Bible compares death to sleep? (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him, the dead are not conscious of anything. There is a promise of hope in the Bible. Our loving God has promised to awaken the dead, as if from sleep, and give them life again. Acts 24:15 says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” The bible offers comfort for those who are grieving and I hope this brings you comfort as well.
