Ernestine Johnson
Marietta- Ernestine Johnson 77, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the NMMC. She was a retired employee of NMMC, enjoyed doing private duty nursing, working for home health care, fishing, camping, working in her garden, spending time with her sister, and she loved her dog.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery.
She is survived by 2 daughters Tonyia Hannon (Hal) of Pontotoc, Sherrie Cheeks, sister Virginia Turner of Corinth, 2 grandchildren Christopher Garrard (Blakley), Nacole Cox (Trent), 6 great grandchildren Chloe and Charleigh Garrard, Hunter, Kloie, Pearson, and Jena White
She was preceded in death by her parents Noah and Audrey Barron Lewis, son Wayne Potts, husband Eddie L. Johnson, sister Carolyn Sullivan, brothers L.D. and W.T. Lewis.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 10 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be Chris Garrard, Hal Hannon, Trent Cox, Hunter and Pearson White.
