Kendall Wayne Steen
Services to celebrate the life of Kendall Wayne Steen, 76, will be held on Monday at 3:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 pm until service time. Bro. George Kyle, Ron Dupree and Dr. Leonard Pratt will officiate the service.
Kendall passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Corinth on February 17, 1947 to the late Joe Lee and Vance Eldridge Steen. He was a graduate of Corinth High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict. Kendall retired from ITT after 40 plus years and served his community as a former Justice Court Judge. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting in his spare time but especially loved buying and selling anything he could find a deal on.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carolyn Steen; daughter, Lisa McCalla (Brian); sons, Ken Steen and Zack Steen (Brandy); grandchildren, Riley and Lindley Steen; sisters, Dianne Kyle (George) and Glenda Rider; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Steen; and sister, Bronda Endress.
Pallbearers will be Riley Steen, Brian McCalla, Ron Dupree, Shorty Mincy and James Allen.
