Her Grace, Bishop Aline Smith Jackson, fondly called “Toddy,” was born to the union of
the late Jimmy and Littie B. Robins Smith on December 29, 1947, in Guntown,
Mississippi. She departed this life on March 20, 2023 at her the home of her daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Daniels. She received the gift of the Holy Ghost at
an early age of nine years old and was a member of Mt. Moriah Holiness Church,
Guntown, MS.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline began her education at Popular Elementary School in Saltillo,
Mississippi. As the family later relocated to Guntown, Mississippi, she continued her
education at J.O. Lowe’s High School, where she played on the girls basketball team
until graduating her senior year in 1967. She loved to travel and upon graduating high
school, she relocated to Toledo, Ohio, Detroit Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson, while residing in Ohio pursued a nursing career.
While living in Chicago, she graduated from Debra Beauty School and became a
licensed beautician. After many years, she relocated back to her home state of
Mississippi and rededicated her life to the Lord. She established her own business by
opening her own beauty shop in Guntown, MS.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson, acknowledged the call that was placed on her life,
she girded up her lions, having her feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of
peace, she put on the whole armor naturally and received a B.A. Degree in Religion and
a Minor in History from Lambert University, Jackson, TN and a Master of Divinity
Degree from Memphis Theological Seminary, Memphis TN, and began to carry the
Gospel to a dying world, preaching the word of God.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson was a faithful member as she served as a teacher,
preacher, Evangelist, and choir member under the late Bishop Ollie Robins at Mt.
Moriah Holiness Church, Guntown, Mississippi. She was appointed by Bishop. O.
Robins to minister and go into the vineyard in Mantachie, MS where she preached the
Word of God and many souls were saved, set free and delivered. She later relocated to
Bryan, Texas for a time, as she labored in the gospel, souls were saved and added to
the Kingdom of God.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson, upon returning to Mississippi, Elder Aline (at the
time), was appointed to Pastor at Soul Saving Holiness Church in Humboldt, TN., for
several years, while affiliated with The Church of the Living God Pillar and Ground of
the Truth. She served four (4) years as Vice-President of the National Foreign Mission
and eight (8) years as President.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson work in the body of Christ has been world-wide and
her preaching/teaching ministry and pastoral leadership has spanned the globe. She
was one who consistently demonstrated hands-on leadership and commitment to the
call of God without denominational boundaries.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson missionary journey took her to The Republic of China,
(where she worked with doctors and nurses in aiding the sick). As a child, God gave her
the desire to visit China. She worked with others to see a church built that would seat
approximately two hundred people in Sande Grande, Trinidad, West Indies. In Jamaica,
West Indies she helped refurbish a church. Her mission work also took her to
Jerusalem, Israel, and Istanbul, Turkey.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson authored three books entitled: What Do You Do When
Demonic Activity Attacks You? Shepherd Beware, So You Think God Called You to
Pastor, and Deceived. She had started another book in which she was unable to
complete.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson, joined Temple of Compassion and Deliverance
church, Tupelo, MS in August 2000, under the pastorate of Bishop Clarence L. Parks.
There she served as Sunday School Teacher, Administrator Spiritual Advisor and Elder.
Her leadership was solicited both in the church and as a humanitarian and civic leader
in the community.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson serve as National Sunday School Teacher and State
Moderator. In June of 2009, she was examined, ordained, consecrated and elevated to
the office of the Bishopric of Outstretched Hands International Ministries of Christ, Inc.
(OSHIMOC), located in Tupelo, MS. Serving as the Director of Church Growth and
Development and a member of the Board of Bishops. She visited Haiti, West Indies,
and collaborated fellowship and network with a ministry there.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson implemented The Women Empowering Women
Conference in 2015. Her mission was, “To empower all women to become the very best
that God have for each one of them. To refine, refocus and rededicate lives holistically
and spiritually.”
Her Grace, Bishop Aline was a member and advocate of the Sisters Network (for Breast
Cancer). She was a two time survivor of Breast Cancer.
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson was an awesome Mother to her daughter, proud
Mother-in-law, and a doting “Granny” to her Grands and Great-Grands. She was always
there for them to do whatever she could do in her power to do. She loved to laugh, and
“cut up” with her siblings as that is what always happens when they are together,
whether in person, or on the cellphones! She had a very tight bond with her cousins,
whom she loved dearly!
Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Jimmy Lee
Smith and Mother Littie B. Robins Smith: two brothers, Sammie and Lawrence Edward,
one sister, Lucnett (all infants).Her Grace, Bishop Aline Jackson leaves to mourn and cherish her memories a

Smith- Cromwell, Bloomfield, CT, Mary E. Robinson, (Bishop James Robinson) of
Guntown, MS, Beatrice A. Smith, Guntown, MS. She loved ALL of her many Neices,

and Jordan Gunn. Special lifelong friends Mrs. Martha Cummings King and the late
Mother Velma Harper-Riley. Spiritual son and daughters, Elder Charlie Stubbs, Dec.
Kurt Spragin (Conita Spragin), Tabitha Davis, Coretta Gunn; her personal secretary,
Elder Dondria Blanchard; her adjutant, Elder Glenda Payne, and Elder Chiquita
Johnson; and friends, Elder Sammie and Annie Staples. Her Grace, Bishop Aline
Jackson had a “special love” for her church family at Temple of Compassion and
Deliverance.
