A Celebration of Life Service for Peggy Ann Smith, 91, is set for 2:00 pm Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Bostick and Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 am to service time.

Peggy died May 23, 2023 at Dogwood Plantation Assisted Living Center. She was born February 10, 1932 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Murray and Emma Barker Drewery. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and a graduate of Corinth High School. She worked as a scrub nurse at Community Hospital before going to work with her husband at “Hamburger Harold’s”. She still worked until it closed in 2012. She enjoyed playing golf, fishing, cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Smith; parents; and sister, Shirley Smith (Junior).

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Smith; grandsons, Franz Schnabl and Cedric Schnabl; great grandchildren, Brett Schnabl, Anna Grace Schnabl, NoLee Schnabl and Tyler Schnabl; and a great great grandson, Jamison Cache Schnabl.

Pallbearers are Steve Drewery, Brent Mills, Keith Frazier, Larry Ross, Kim Ratliff and Gene Sanders
