Juanita Culver Fitzgerald

Services to Celebrate the Life of Juanita Culver Fitzgerald, 79, will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 1pm at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Trent Nethery officiating. Visitation will be held from 11am until service time on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Macon Cemetery in Macon, TN.

Juanita passed away on July 2,2023 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born on January 21,1944 to the late Claudie and Lucille Culver in Fayette County, TN. She went to Fayette Ware High School in Somerville, TN and then to Northeast Mississippi Community College where she received a degree in cosmetology. One of her favorite hobbies included genealogy; she could get lost in her family history for hours on end. She would get excited when she got to add another limb on the tree by adding new nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She also enjoyed being a homemaker, being able to travel, and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Stella Culver and Charlene Glover; brother, Rex Culver; and great granddaughter, Sadie Louise Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Fitzgerald; son, Tim Fitzgerald; daughter, Sheryl Irby (Rodney); sister, Mary Tatum; brothers, Jerry Culver, Ferrell Culver and Delbert Culver; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Rodney Irby, James Box, Kristian Fitzgerald, Allen Nash, Eric Clark and Tim Bradley.
