Lillie F. Hasting

October 27, 1952 – October 6, 2023

Lillie Faye Hasting was born October 27, 1952 unto the late Roosevelt and
Jessie Mae Shumpert Hasting. She departed this life Friday, October 6, 2023
under the care of North MS Medical Hospice Unit.
At an age, she accepted Christ and joined Mt. Zion M. B. Church. Lillie was a
devoted and faithful member until death. She enjoyed being a member of the
Young Adult Choir and made sure her children attended and took part in the
choir.
She worked at various jobs such as: Rivercrest School cafeteria, AlKo Brand
and later retired from Columbia Rope in Guntown, MS.
She leaves to cherish her memories; Angela (IJ Jr.) Chapman; sons, Rafael
Hasting of Guntown, MS, and Ellington Hasting of Baldwyn, MS; sisters,
Pearlie Beene and Ester (Charles) Anderson; brothers: Willie B. (Rozell)
Hasting, Cleven Hasting, Robert Earl Hasting and Willie S. (Annie) Hasting;
grandchildren: Braylen Hasting, Raylan McGaha, and Daylan Wren all of
Baldwyn, MS; special friend, James Douglas Richardson; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary L. Bridges, brother
Charlie W. Hasting and special nephew Forrest Hasting.
