Dianne Moore, 76, died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 16, 1947 to Dorsey and Acel Mattox Moore of Fulton. Dianne was a lifelong resident of Fulton, and the oldest living continual member of First Baptist Church of Fulton, where she had served as church librarian. Dianne loved a series of pet dogs and cats, traveling, Christian music, chocolate, spending time on her computer, and dining out at restaurants across Mississippi. She spent her last 4 years as a cherished resident of Fulton’s Dogwood assisted living community.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Fulton at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, with arrangements made by McNeece-Morris Funeral Home. A visitation will be held before the service. She will be buried at the White Church Cemetery.
Her survivors include one sister, Brenda Moore Nunnally Duffey of Fulton; many beloved cousins including Ann Wood and Margie Golding; two nephews, Derrick Nunnally (Megan) of Tacoma, Washington, and Nicholas Nunnally (Leighann) of Ferndale, Michigan; three great-nephews, Lucas Jackson Nunnally of Fulton, Parker Mattox Nunnally of Ferndale, and Liam Dorsey Nunnally of Tacoma; and one great-niece, Cora Ruth Nunnally of Tacoma, as well as a very special caregiver and friend, Alex Blanchard of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother-in-law, Robert H. Duffey.
