Patricia Lee Bates, 62, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home in the Centerville community of Itawamba County.  She was born November 30, 1960, in Illinois to David and Kathryn Johnson Eaton. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the IT Department at North Mississippi Medical Center, where she had been working for over 34 years. She previously was also a flight nurse at NMMC for several years. She loved Off- Roading, boating and being around the water.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Bates (Nicole); her parents, David and Kathy Eaton, all of Centerville community; one brother, Patrick Eaton (Pam) of Booneville; three grandchildren, Andrew Miller, Austin Miller, and Kolee Bates; one great grandchild, Ophelia Miller; three nephews, Connor Eaton, Cade Eaton, and Matthew Eaton.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Blake Eaton.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
