Sheila Fleming
Carolina Community- Sheila Fleming,65 passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the UMMC Hospital in Jackson. She was a hard worker and had worked as a shipping clerk for MTD for over 30 years. She enjoyed her flowers and decorating for Christmas. Sheila loved spending time with her grandchildren and she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Ricky Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robbie Fleming; son, Michael Taylor (Meagan), daughters, Kala Taylor and Ashley Sandlin; grandchildren, Hannah Bishop, Addy Kennedy, Jaxon Kennedy and Colin Bishop; brothers and sisters, David Hughes (Judy), Greg Hughes (Tammy), Doris Mobley (Doug) and Charlotte Lindley; sister-in-law, Judy Brister (Larry); brother-in-law, Terry Fleming; host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Theo Hughes and Jo Tom Alred Hughes Dulaney; step-father, George Dulaney; daughter, Jessica Michelle Taylor; brother, Jimmy D. Hughes; father and mother-in-law, James and Lurie Fleming; sister-in-law, Dot Fleming.
Pallbearers will be Chad Kennedy, Jimmy Pettigo, Austin Deaton, Bruce Deaton, James Armstrong and Charles Lewis.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
