Catherine Ann "Cat" Easley Patterson, 74, of Calhoun City went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home in Calhoun City, MS. She was born on July 24, 1949, in Vardaman to the late James Easley and Lois Marie Bradford Easley.

Catherine was a graduate of VHS Class of '67. After graduating from Vardaman High School she pursued her education at Northwest Mississippi Community Junior College. Cat worked at State Farm Insurance for Hal Reece Jr. in Calhoun City. She also owned and operated Quality Dry Cleaners in Houston, MS. In her spare time, Cat could be found decorating or cooking for her family. She enjoyed her flowers. Catherine was a member of Houston First Baptist Church.

She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: three daughters: Suzette (Mark) Tedford of Bruce; Haley (Steven) Havens of Calhoun City; Lori (Toby) Edmonson of Vardaman; brother, James Michael "Mickey" (EM) Easley of Hurtsboro, AL; ten grandchildren: Ashlyn Aron, Annaleise (Brennan) Pugh, Garrett Womack, Blakelee Womack, Tyler Edmonson, Maggie Edmonson, Colton Edmonson, Jensyn (Casey) Matsuno, Cain Havens, and Heath White; three great-grandchildren: Joei Katherine Aron, Thomas Brody Pugh, and MJ Matsuno.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, James Easley and Lois Marie Bradford Easley; spouse, James Irby Patterson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The service honoring Cat's life will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman with Bro. Jimmy Vance and Bro. Cain Havens officiating. Colton Edmonson, Toby Edmonson, Ty Edmonson, Steven Havens, Brennan Pugh, Mark Tedford, and Garrett Womack will carry Catherine to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.
