A time to be born…..
Mancy Columbus Copeland entered this earth as the 7th of 14 children on November 1, 1946. He was born to the late Sip and Elizabeth Copeland.
A time to live…..
Mancy was a 1966 graduate of Guntown Lowes High School. He was employed by Scardell Quilting Company and Columbian Rope. He enjoyed watching all sports, and he did not want to be bothered during that time. He enjoyed working in his yard and often served others by driving them to various places.
He attended church at New Direction, North, under the leadership of Bishop Jimmy Copeland. He was the loving and devoted father to one daughter, his best friend, Tramaine Owens. He had two grandchildren, Amiya & Ayanna Armstrong, and one great-grandchild, Kobee Baker.
A time to die….
Mancy departed this Earthly life on March 10, 2024, at 8:53 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jimmie B. Copeland, Katie Lue Copeland, Marcell Copeland, Reba Hickenbottom, Robins Copeland, and Elizabeth Betts.
A time of memories….
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, grandchildren, and great grandson; two sisters, Carnell Kilgo,and Velva Hill (Bishop Rendell); five brothers, Evandis Copeland, McKell Copeland (Annette), Bishop Jimmy Copeland (Paula), Randy Copeland (Terry), Gene Copeland; Brother-In-Law, Booker T. Betts, and Sister-In-Law, Annette Copeland; a host of relatives and friends; and a very special friend, Debra Owens.
