Karan Diann Peters, 74, born March 24, 1950 to the late Stanley Christian and Bonnie Adell Tucker Christian, passed away on May 30, 2024 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS.
She graduated from Tupelo High School and attended MUW in Columbus, MS. She was a homemaker and member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Starkville, MS. She was also an artist and pianist and never met a stranger. She dearly loved her family, friends, and her church family.
Karan is survived by her sons, Robert Palermo of Vicksburg, MS and Daniel Cresup (Melissa) of Smithville, MS; sister, Carolyn Clayton (Charles) of Starkville, MS; granddaughter, Ryder Cresup of Smithville, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Lee Memorial Cemetery in Tupelo, MS. Rev. Seth Starkey will conduct the service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
