Paul lived a wonderful life with his beloved wife, the late Sandra Baker Liles. Together, they raised a beautiful family. Affectionately known as “Coach”, he and Sandra could always be found on the sidelines; whether attending an Ole Miss football game or coaching a little league football or baseball game. He loved crappie fishing and golfing but most of all, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and taking many memorable cruises. Only second to his beloved Rebels was his love of fruit. Paul’s non-negotiable included meeting his daily quota of grapes, strawberries or any other fruit he had available. His family jokes that his bedside was always stocked with bags of grapes while other fruit was plentiful throughout the house. He was a loving husband, an adoring father and a very proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Baker Liles, his parents, Sammie Liles and Martha Gordon Liles, and his sister, Vickie Walker.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberley Liles Province of Clarksdale, MS; a son, William Paul Liles, Jr. (Raquel) of Oxford, MS; sisters, Nancy Washington (Joe) of Okolona, MS and Sharon Earnest (Pete) of Algoma, MS; brother, Sonny Liles (Rosemary) of Hot Springs, AR; seven grandchildren, William Paul Liles, III (Emily), Eli Gordon Liles, Margaret Blake Dalrymple (John Cody), Marileigh Liles Frye (Alan), Brandon Reese Province, Benjamin Conner Liles, and Allyanne Grace Vanlandingham and four great grandchildren, Bentley Alan Frye, Eleanor Rayne Frye, Wesley Baker Liles, and John Adler Dalrymple.
