Pamela Tyra

Belden- Pamela Tyra, 64, passed away on December 31, 2025 at Diversicare Nursing Facility. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She Pam had a big heart and large personality. She had an impact on each person she interacted with and helped raise many children and loved them all. She was strong willed, brave and lived her life to the fullest even with many of her life challenges. She had a kind heart, and was loving, funny and always wanted the best for others. She loved being a wife, mother, aunt and sister. She was a Baptist and a friend to everyone.

Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, January 09, 2026 @ 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hills Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Tyra; step-son, Matt Tyra; daughter-in-law, Victoria Tyra; grandchildren, Alex Tyra, Kloe Tyra and Jordan Tyra; sister, Glenda Russell; brothers, Billy Freeman and Terry Freeman; others she considered family , Tyler Holcomb, Brandon Smith, Brent Lochridge; nieces and nephews, Stacy Mercer, Jason Jackson, Jennifer Beckett, Chad Russell, Jessica Henderson, Samantha Freeman, Kevin Freeman, Latasha Jones and Crystal Jones; host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Tyra; father, Hollis Eugene Freeman; mother, Loney Lucille Richardson Freeman; sisters, Barbara Jackson and Debbie Sue Jones; brothers, Jimmy Dale Freeman and Travis Freeman; step-son, Neil Tyra.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 a. m. until service time @ 1:00 p. m.
