Baldwyn- Cecilia Moore Horton, age 76, passed away Friday January 23, 2026 at the Baldwyn nursing facility. She retired from banking, having worked with Baldwyn State Bank, Sunburst Bank and Union Planters Bank. She enjoyed running, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends and church community. She was a member of the Valley Christian Church in Lee County.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Danny Horton of Baldwyn, one son Josh Horton (Melek) of Baldwyn, one sister Wanda Manosky (Ski) of Huntsville, AL, three grandchildren Afton Hendrix, Axle Horton, Ayda Horton and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Margaret Underwood Moore,1 son Chris Horton and 1 Brother Melvin Moore.
