Sarah Duncan
Marietta- Sarah Duncan, 92, passed away at her home on Monday, January 26, 2026.She attended Houston Elementary School, graduated from Fulton High School and Itawamba Community College. She enjoyed playing basketball in her younger years and she was a business person. She retired from Bank of MS. and she was a member of Ozark Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 1:00 p. m. with Bro. Carl Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Robert Barry Duncan (Elizabeth) of Marietta; (2) grandchildren, Hunter Beene and Dillan Beene; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Duncan; parents, Ira and Lera Ferguson Spigner; brother, PC Spigner.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cleveland, Gerald Cleveland, Larry Bishop, Jerry Bishop, Tony Barnes and Ricky Barnes.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
