Beatrice McCulley Waters

Baldwyn-Beatrice McCulley Waters, age 100 died Tuesday March 10, 2026 at the Creekside Manor Assisted Living Facility in Saltillo. Bea was a graduate of Saltillo High School and a graduate and instructor at the cosmetology school in Tupelo during the 1940s. In the 1950s she was co-owner of Ruby and Bea’s Beauty Shop in Saltillo. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Baldwyn where she worked in the Nursery for many years. Bea worked in her yard as long as she was able and loved her flowers.

Services will be Sunday at 2 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Haley Uhrig officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwyn Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include her sons David Barnes & Debbie of Baldwyn and Jimmy Waters of Baldwyn, her daughter-in-law Tammie Caver Waters of Baldwyn, grandchildren Julie Waters Sartin & Chad, Brett Waters & Lauren, Jorda Waters, Blake Barnes & Kelly and Kayla Kimbrough, great grandchildren, Kimmins Bishop, Shepherd and Deacon Barnes and Oni McKinney.

Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Willard Waters, her daughter Betsy Waters Kimbrough, her parents Charlie and Hattie McCulley.

Donations in her honor may be made to Children’s Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Baldwyn, and a special thank you to the people of Creekside Manor for their excellent care and compassion shown to Mrs. Waters.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon until service time at 2 pm.
