On February 22, 2019, Callie Mae Fields Hogan received her wings. She was born July 4, 1935, to the late Boston Fields and the late Lucille Jarman Fields. Callie Mae confessed faith in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and joined New Hebron Baptist Church at an early age.
She was a quiet, loving person who was deeply devoted to her family. She loved to cook. She was united in holy matrimony to Charlie Hogan Sr. To this union five children were born.
Callie Mae, “MaDea,” as she was affectionately called, left to cherish her memories her children: Mary L. Green, Tupelo, MS and Lynn R. Hogan, Wren, MS; eleven grandchildren: Rodney Hogan (Anissa), Dewon McIntosh, Bryan McIntosh (Jennifer), Latasha Hogan Mosely, Kevin Hogan (Deloris), Kimberlyn Hogan Johnson (Stacey), Anthony McIntosh, Clifton Hogan, Felicia Hogan, Connie Blanchard and Cortney Hogan Moore (Kelvin); twenty-three great-grandchildren, three brothers, Eddie Fields, Florida, Freddie Fields, and King Fields, both living in Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Sue Willie Hogan of Wren, MS and a host of relatives and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Charlie Hogan Sr., her son Charlie Hogan, Jr., her daughter Bernice Hogan, her daughter Gloria Dean Hogan McIntosh, and one sister Annie Mae Fields.
