Carl Ellis Stewart, age 64, of Water Valley, MS died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was born February 22, 1955 in Marks MS to Shirley (Russell) Stewart and the late George Wesley Stewart and worked in the maintenance and construction fields. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and his dog Buck.

Visitation is planned for Monday, February 10, 2019 in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM. Services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Brothers Keith Burney and Michael Haas officiating. Burial will be in Turkey Creek Cemetery with Bobby Sullivan, Chad Newman, W.C. Covington, Robert Walker, Robert Griffin, and Scott Russell serving as pallbearers.

Carl is survived by his wife of thirty two years, Cindy Stewart; two sons, Justin Stewart, and Kyle Stewart; one daughter, Melanie Bell (Donald), all of Water Valley, MS; five brothers, Richard Stewart (Angie), George "Rooster" Stewart (Coyanna), Wesley Stewart (Lynn), Wade Stewart, George "Boy" Stewart, all of Water Valley; three sisters, Gayle Tyler (Larry), Faye Pryor, all of Water Valley, and Sarah Vance of GA; two grandchildren, Kelsey Plummer, and Trenton Stewart; as well as his mother, Shirley Stewart.

Along with his father, Carl was preceded in death by one brother, Wesley Dean Stewart; and one sister, Georgia Ann Stewart.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Seven Oaks Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
