Dana Leigh Osburn Albert, 50, passed away on February 21, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Dana was born on May 8, 1969, in West Point, the daughter of Nathan "Sonny" and Lynda Keeton Osburn. Dana worked in the warehouse for Stanley Corporation. She enjoyed horseback riding, cross-stitching, baking bread, reading, and playing basketball. She also working with kids and had studied to be an elementary school teacher. She was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 P. M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Danny Avery officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her two daughters, Hannah Albert of Starkville and Melissa Weiss (Brandon) of Auburn, Nebraska; her son, Nathan Albert of Eupora; four grandchildren: Aurora, Charlie, Athena, and Jonathan Weiss, all of Auburn, Nebraska; her parents, Nathan “Sonny” and Lynda Osburn of Cedar Bluff and one brother, Jason Osburn (Jeniece) of West Point.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Nurses and Staff of the Critical Care Unit at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
