Danielle Renee Lindsey King, 45, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Monroe County. She was born on November 29, 1974 in Waukegan, IL to David R. Lindsey and Carleen S. Dodd. Danielle was a graduate of Sulligent High School where she also played in the band and she graduated Bevill State Community College where she earned her associate’s degree in nursing and on July 31, 1993 she married the love of her life, Michael King. For the past 19 years, she has been employed at Gilmore Hospital in Amory where worked in surgery, the emergency room, and in orthopedics. Danielle was a devoted wife and strong supporter of her children and could be found attending any sporting event they were involved in. She had a deep love for taking care of her patients and she had a smile that could light up the room and had the ability to make friends where ever she went. A horse enthusiast, Danielle liked nothing better than to go trail riding and oftentimes she could be found in the wood shop making anything that came to mind. She loved all things outdoors where she loved the relaxation of hiking and boating, but she also enjoyed the challenge of hunting. She, along with her family, attended Crossbound Church in Smithville.
