Erline Pierce

Okolona, MS — Erline Pierce was born to the late Ernest Babbitt and Suzy Mae Davison on February 17, 1928, in Egypt, MS.  She departed this life at home on November 27, 2019.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.  As a young woman, she relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan and St. Louis, MO. Erline was united in wedlock to Clifford A. Pierce.  She leaves to cherish her loving memory:   one grandson, Tyrone L. Pierce of St. Louis, MO; one brother-in-law, Tom E. (Jimmie Nell) Pierce of Shannon, MS; two sister-in-laws, Esther M. Pierce of Grand Rapids, MI; Emma K. (Coleman) Pierce; and a host of great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Clifford A. Pierce), son (Sammie Lee Moore), and two sisters (Dorothy and Ernistine).
