Mrs. Jenny Sue Hadaway, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd., Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Britton will officiate. Interment will be private at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hadaway was born on September 27, 1938, in Pell City, AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch. Mrs. Hadaway was an amazing cook, and enjoyed cooking for friends and family. She also loved to spend her sunny days working in her garden. However, she loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Hadaway is survived by her loving husband, Frank Hadaway of Olive Branch; two daughters, Kori (Thomas) Giallanza of Canton, GA, and Kathy (Dale) Cross of Olive Branch; one sister, Jewel Dean Hallford of Wilsonville, AL; one granddaughter, Rachell (Andrew) Fischer of Germantown, TN; four grandsons, Michael (Brittany) Giallanza of Cumming, GA, Christopher (Niki) Giallanza of Canton, Brian (Reineke) Jowers of Hillsboro, OR, and Tyler (Rachel Lain) Strasburger of Athens, AL; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hadaway was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank Alverson and Minnie Belle Alverson.
