Born Saturday, February 24, 1951 in Calhoun City, Mississippi to William C. Ramsey, Sr. and Bessie Pendergrast
Ramsey.
A graduate of Calhoun City High School – 1971 and construction worker,
he was a member of Duncan Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson
Remington Blake Wesley.
Surviving his wife Alecia McCammon Ramsey of Bruce, MS. a daughter, Johnna (Brad) McKinley of Morton, MS,
brothers, W.C. (Peggy) Ramsey, Jr. of Calhoun City, MS, Jimmy (Ann) Ramsey of Calhoun City, MS and Jerry
(Sylvania) Ramsey of Lafayette, LA, sister, Liddia (Leslie) Hughes of Newton, MS. Grandchildren, Grace Wesley,
Jackson Wesley and Katie McKinley.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Derrick
Finley, Br. Forrest Poindexter and Bro. Daniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Turkey Creek Cemetery, Bruce,
MS.
Pallbearers will be Everette Crofford, Kevin Flemons, Tommy Gann, Brandon Hughes, Devin McCammon, John Ramsey, and Kevin Womack. Honorary pallbearers will be Leslie Hughes, Lane McCammon, Brad McKinley, Jason Ramsey, Jerry Ramsey, Jimmy Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, and W.C. Ramsey
