Rozella was born to Rose Anna and Lee Dorsey Osborn on August 20, 1921.

Rozella gave her life to Christ at an early age at Poplar Springs M.B Church, in Shannon, Mississippi.  Late on, she moved her membership to Morning Star M.B Church in Tupelo, Mississippi where she remained a faithful member. She served in many auxiliaries at Morning Star M.B Church as a member of the Usher Board, Kitchen Committee, choir and mother of the church.

Although she worked for several employers, Gilpin Cleaners was where she worked until she retired.  She enjoyed watching her favorite local base team the Verona Black Sox where she was known as the mother of the team.

Rozella leaves to cherish her memories, 10 children; Eldora Lathan (Floyd), Frank "Sonny" Miller (JoAnn), Matthew Miller (Ruth), Annie Staples (Sammie), Carl D. Fields, Leora Kohlheim (Standley), Dennis Miller, Andrew Miller (Darlene), Aaron Miller and Alfred Miller; 28 grandchildren, 62 great-grand children, and 31 great-great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband Willie B. Thomas, 1 brother, Webster Spearman, two sons, and one grand daughter.
